FOUNDER & CEO

Pia is the Founder and CEO of Tälist. With her combination of extensive HR expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and industry knowledge, she found herself in the perfect position to tackle the talent bottleneck within the Alternative Protein industry. She’s also co-founder and board member of CellAg Germany. Pia grew up close to the Alps with a love for hand-crafted cheese and can’t wait for guilt-free alternatives to “Bergkäse”.

RECRUITMENT & HR CONSULTANT, FREELANCER
As a Recruitment and HR Consultant working on a freelance basis, Brennan is helping match talent with mission-driven organizations that align with their values. Brennan has spent the last several years working and studying internationally, pursuing interests in Business, Human Resource Management, Social Entrepreneurship and Social Science in France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Australia and the U.S.

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, FREELANCER

As Tälist’s Communications Manager working on a freelance basis, Cláudia is helping us to have meaningful conversations with Alternative Protein companies as well as candidates interested in making a career in this high-impact industry. She is committed to building communities that contribute to solving the world's biggest problems. Originally from Portugal, she’s been living abroad for the past decade in places like the UK, France, Cambodia, Singapore, and lately Germany.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS & FUNDRAISING CONSULTANT

As Tälist’s Strategic Partnerships & Fundraising Consultant working on a freelance basis, Anna has 8+ years of work experience in the plant-based FMCG and non-profit animal advocacy sectors. Supporting the movement as a project (operations), communication, marketing, brand, campaign, and fundraising manager and consultant.

INDUSTRY ADVISOR

Friederike is Tälist’s Industry Advisor. With her extensive industry insights, expertise, and network she’s been contributing to the strategy and growth of Tälist from the very beginning. She is working as a Director at Blue Horizon and co-authored several articles on the Alternative Protein industry. Originally from Germany, she is now UK-based.

SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR

With a background in molecular and stem cell biology, he headed the quality assurance and regulatory efforts of Mosa Meat for two years before joining New Harvest as Director of Responsible Research and Innovation. He also runs Uncharted Futures, a biotech consulting service. He is also interested in the arts, and fascinated by the intersection of science and culture.

INDUSTRY ADVISOR

Parendi Birdie has been at the forefront of the cultivated meat industry since 2013. She has contributed to the industry’s growth in many capacities, such as marketing, business development, R&D, and as an impact investor. She’s served as an early member of the Mission Barns and GOOD Meat teams and has worked to build these companies from the ground up. Parendi holds a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas.

INDUSTRY ADVISOR

Christian is Tälist's Advisor in the field of Product Development. He has 8+ years of work experience as a Food Technologist & Consultant for innovative food and beverage startups in Europe and is a Mentor for various Food Startup Platforms in Germany (e.g. proVeg Incubator, Food Innovation Camp, and others.). He is supporting Tälist’s clients in selecting the right candidates to develop their products or technology.

TECH ADVISOR

As a skilled volunteer Arnav is providing technical consulting for Tälist and is involved in the development of scalable talent solutions for the industry. He is a senior software engineer, holding a degree in biotechnology, and has work experience in tissue engineering. He is also a facilitator at the Cambridge Alternative Protein Fundamentals Program. Arnav’s based in the US and excited about cultured mozzarella cheese to make pizzas with!

STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Lauren is the Co-Founder and CEO of Animal Advocacy Careers – a US-registered charity that tackles the talent bottleneck within Animal Advocacy. As the Talent Solutions Advisor for Tälist she shares her in-depth expertise on efficient talent solutions. Originally from the UK, she is now based in Berlin.

SKILLED VOLUNTEER

Shaileen is a bioinformatician, animal scientist, and science communicator in Ireland, who has applied her genomics knowledge to support start-ups, large corporations, and governmental bodies. As a skilled volunteer for Tälist, she is creating an impact calculator tool to help make the impact of positions in the Alternative Protein industry more tangible.

SKILLED VOLUNTEER

As a skilled volunteer, Connor is contributing to the development of an Impact Calculator that quantifies the effect an individual can have on the world by becoming involved in Alternative Protein. He’s originally from the US and has lived and worked in various countries – most recently as a project manager in the semiconductor industry in Ireland. As someone who loves making pizza at home, he’s looking forward to a great vegan pepperoni he can have at home!
